Originally from the Brooklyn/Queens area, Pete’s athletic journey began in high school and continued at Fordham University before his service in the MARINE CORPS and playing in Japan’s JABA league. Beyond baseball, Pete has coached junior ice hockey and achieved success, including winning a state championship in travel hockey.
Pete Raimondi is a multifaceted individual with a diverse background spanning from the US Marine Corps to investment banking and now as an Assistant Coach at Pace University for seventeen years. His coaching tenure at Pace has seen notable achievements, including helping to lead The Setters to multiple Southwest Division Championships and appearances in the D2 Regional World Series. Under his guidance, Pace players have excelled, earning spots on prestigious teams like the NE10 All-Conference Scholastic team and progressing to the professional ranks through leagues like MLB Draft.
Other duties at Pace, Pete has been actively involved in recruiting talents from Long Island, NYC, and CT participating in various leagues, camps, and showcases. His coaching experience extends to collegiate leagues like the ACBL, NACBL, and LICBL, where he has clinched league championships and earned All-Star Coach honors multiple times.

John Downey is a highly accomplished individual with a rich background in baseball and law enforcement. He began his baseball journey playing varsity baseball for Franklin K Lane in Brooklyn NY and Port Richmond HS in Staten Island NY, later earning a spot on team USA for the Roberto Clemente All Star Tournament.
After his high school career, John pitched for Molloy University and played semi-pro baseball for the Brooklyn Indians. He then transitioned into law enforcement, joining the NYC Police Academy and rising to the rank of sergeant during his career.
John's coaching career spans from 2009 to 2023, focusing on youth and travel baseball, where he founded the successful Stallions Baseball Club. Under his guidance, his teams achieved numerous championships and accolades, with many players moving on to college baseball programs at various levels.
In addition to coaching, John served as an associate scout for the San Diego Padres from 2019 to 2022, showcasing his keen eye for talent and understanding of the game.
In 2022, John was appointed as the head coach for the Jersey Shore Stallions in the ACBL, a testament to his coaching prowess and leadership in baseball.
Most recently, in the Fall of 2023, John was honored to be named the HEAD COACH of St Joseph University Baseball Program in Brooklyn, NY, a D3 Skyline Conference member. John's dedication to the sport is evident in his family as well, with both of his sons, John Jr. and Ryan, actively involved in baseball at their respective college and high school levels.
